Technical Sales RepresentativeJob Reference #: 59-55176-10RM18 An Oil & Gas/Energy/Manufacturing company located in the Houston - Sales & Marketing area is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to add to their team. To qualify for this Direct Hire position, you must have Engineering Degree , 6-8 years of Technical Sales in Energy Systems Manufacturing, CAD Software. In this position you will be responsible for to sell professional engineering products, systems, and services for energy and related products for the subsea construction industry. Analyzes business opportunities and interprets customer requirements and determines which products best meet those requirements. Prepare proposals, identifies operational and safety benefits for customer, new applications. Communicates information to appropriate parties and helps develop strategies related to industry trends and projected future business. Works with the proposal team on projects assigned to analyze customer requirements and to develop product offerings. Prepares technical quotation packages. Prepares and makes technical sales presentations focusing on value to customer. Provides technical guidance and frequently leads problem resolution. Designs changes to equipment to meet customer need and to impact cost, quality, safety or operational improvement. Recommends new products and applications for emerging developments in respective market segments. Keeps abreast of new products, specifications, and industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicates new information Attends industry sponsored trade shows and seminars. Provides input and assistance to other functional areas including Quality, Service and Safety in order to improve processes and customer satisfaction levels.
