An Oil & Gas company located in the Houston - Sales & Marketing area is seeking
a Marketing Communications Manager to add to their team.
To qualify for this Direct Hire position, you must have Marketing Communications Management Experience , Degree, Oil & Gas. Seismic Industry
are highly preferred.
In this position you will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning, development and coordination of marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the company's sales objectives.
Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments, and advertising agencies to leverage web marketing, trade show activity and direct marketing.
Manages the preparation of sales aids and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or services.
Interacts with vendors to produce promotional material.
Provides marketing communications support for the development of new products
Collaborates closely with the Product Management team to drive growth out portfolio of products, services and solutions
Support global business development activities in addition to corporate marketing campaigns
Manage development of tradeshow strategies and tactical implementation of different events
Collaborate with other key functional members of the corporate marketing team as well as product management and sales teams to design, develop and marketing initiatives according to corporate branding guidelines and campaigns, and product marketing campaigns.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing. Prefer MBA.
Over 7 years of experience in marketing or marketing related work
Oil and Gas marketing experience required, seismic industry experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent presentations skills and proven ability to interact with customers at different organizational levels.
Ability to interact with upper management relating marketing concepts and tying them to business objectives
Knowledge of marketing communications and dealing with advertising agency relations
Understanding of customer needs and experience developing marketing communications material (print, video, presentations, other media).
Ability to translate technical product features into marketable use/benefit value propositions to the marketplace
Special Job Requirements: 25% Travel required.
Pay - $75 - $90k
