Business Intelligence ETL/Architect Developer

A global oilfield provider of engineered services and products located in NW Houston is looking for a Business Intelligence ETL/Architect Developer to lead the strategy and integration efforts for a brand new enterprise scale data warehouse/business intelligence initiative.
To qualify for this Direct Hire position, you must have a minimum BS degree in a related field (i.e. computer science, MIS, etc.) and 5 to 7 years of programming experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 5 years in design, development and support of large complex business and administrative systems using Informatica, SQL and SQL based tools is required. You must be able to build the infrastructure from the ground up. PL/SQL is an essential skill as is strong experience with Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems. Informatica is a desirable skill. knowledge of Unix shell scripting, Data Warehousing, Subversion, Autosys, reporting tools, BI tools, Oracle PeopleSoft for Financials, HR and Supply Chain Management and an ability to understand financial and business processes is preferred.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following software and/or computer languages: VB, PeopleCode, PeopleTools 9.X, Windows 2000, DB2, and Linux. Office software including Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Projects, database, and other project software requirements. Also required is strong experience developing applications with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica and Hyperion Business Intelligence tools such as Interactive Reporting (Brio).
The successful candidate will be a hands-on ETL Architect/Developer within a small highly skilled team that is focused on this initiative. The ETL Architect will assess current state and provide technical direction for future. You will develop, implement and maintain Oracle relational database, client/server systems to support Financial Planning, Analysis and Data Warehouse systems. You must be a specialist with data integration (log/physical data modeling, standards, security, design, develop, cap planning, etc.) This is a hands-on role that interacts heavily with the business and other technical leaders. The ETL Architect will lead the analysis of the data integration environment. You must be able to assess as is/to be and work along with others to align the arch to the business case. You will create high level ETL design specs; tool comparisons and recommendations. You will document the data integration architecture. You will also put in place project plans and drive delivery of ETL and Data Integration solutions and developed complex Mappings, Mapplets and Reusable Transformations, etc.
Pay - $95K - $105K DOE - Great Benefits!
